Since 1949 the non-profit organisation Intersoc vzw has been organising "healthy mountain air holidays" for Belgians in Switzerland. In 2021 they are also opening a hotel in Austria.
Every year,around 36,000 holidaymakers enjoy a fun break in one of around fifty destinations. Intersoc’s catalogue is steadily moving more towards family holidays and in the future, we want to expand this further. It is important that we remain in touch with market trends and, most of all, with the wishes of our holiday guests.
This winter Intersoc is also opening the Grand Hotel Surselva in Flims, for our guests in Switzerland.
We attach great importance to an active leisure programme, respect and admiration for nature, attention to healthy food, an interest in culture and history, as well as social interaction.
For our hotel activities, we have a team of 120 contractual staff and around 3,000 volunteers. Each and every day Intersoc workers are committed to creating the warm and friendly atmosphere that is so typical of our holidays.
